Question 1

What is Awaaz?

Accepted Answer

Awaaz is a voice-first tool that lets Indian kirana (neighbourhood grocery) shop owners create a live online storefront by speaking in Hindi for about 60 seconds. The AI transcribes the speech, extracts the shop's details, and publishes a shareable storefront with WhatsApp ordering and UPI payments.

Question 2

How do I create a store with Awaaz?

Accepted Answer

Register with your WhatsApp number, tap the record button, and speak naturally in Hindi about your shop — its name, address, opening hours, products and prices. Awaaz extracts the details into a storefront you review and publish. The whole process takes about a minute.

Question 3

Is Awaaz free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Awaaz has a Free Forever plan that includes one live storefront, voice-based creation, WhatsApp ordering, a UPI QR code, an embedded map, pickup or delivery, and unlimited products.

Question 4

What languages does Awaaz support?

Accepted Answer

Awaaz supports Hindi and English today, with more Indian languages — including Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi and Malayalam — coming soon.

Question 5

How do customers order from an Awaaz storefront?

Accepted Answer

Customers open the shop's link, add products to a cart, and send the order to the shopkeeper on WhatsApp. They pay using the shop's UPI QR code, and can choose pickup or delivery where the shop offers it.
